Naaah! These are easy man! Just make sure you narrow the aperture as possible - I usually try F16 first or bracket.

Aperture is not a problem here...as a snorchel diver i found difficulties to position myself between the JellyF and the sun.Did you use fill flash on it?

Hm... I don't do SCUBA photography either. I guess you need to improve the technique. Dive under the subject and just let yourself float slowly to the surface.
For this particular one I used DS51 strobe. Don't remember the actual setting though.
